Lambda School Curriculum

After conducting profound research, we have gathered appropriate information on the curriculum of Lambda School. The coding school has two different courses, namely, Web Development and Data Science.
Web Development Curriculum
Under Web Development, students wilJavaScript, HTML, CSS, Node, React, Python, Redux, and SQL. The curriculum is arranged in portions to be imparted by tutors every four weeks to students.
In the first week, students attend an orientation. Common topics discussed would be Remote Working, Class Structure & Expectations, Required Technology, and Support.
From week 1-4, students will learn Web Foundations with issues such as HTML, CSS, Git, JavaScript, and UI Principles.
Weeks 5-8, Students will learn Web Application Development such as React, Redux, React Router, and HTTP/Ajax.
Weeks 9-12, tutors teach Advanced Web Development, Advanced React, State Management, and Web Applications. In the last four weeks, students learn Back End Development.
Data Science Curriculum
Under Data Science Course, students will learn Python, SQL, Data Visualization, Machine Learning, Linear Algebra, Databases, Statistics & Modeling, and Natural Language Processing.
The curriculum is arranged in portions to be imparted by tutors every four weeks to students. The Data Science Program is 24 weeks long.
In the first week, students attend an orientation. Common topics that tutors discuss are Remote Working, Class Structure & Expectations, Required Technology, and Support.
From week 1-4, students learn Statistics Fundamentals.
In weeks 5-8, Students will receive lessons on Predictive Modeling, Linear Models, Model Comparison, and Applied Modeling.
In weeks 9-12, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, SQL and Databases, Productization, and Cloud are being taught to students.
Weeks 13-16 focuses on Machine Learning. Students get to learn Natural Language Processing, Neural Network Foundations, Cutting-edge models, and architecture.
On weeks 17 to 20, students work on Computer Science, Intro to Python and OOP, Algorithms, Data Structures, Graphs, Hash Tables, and Coding Interview Tips.
In the last four weeks, tutors assist students with Job Search Support.
Lambda School Course Schedule

Lambda School has different schedule formats for Full-Time and Part-Time students with two different curricula for both the Web Development and Data Science courses. The course schedule remains the same for students who partake in any one of the two courses.
Meanwhile, Students who opt for a full-time program attend 8 AM to 5 PM (PST) from Monday to Friday. Meanwhile, students opting for Part-Time attend classes from Monday to Friday in the afternoons with an additional weekend class left to their choice. The course schedule falls under the Lambda School Curriculum.
Full-Time Course Schedule
8:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Warm Up
Students get some personal time to review the day’s materials before the instruction begins.
9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Guided Project
Students start building a project by following the tutor’s instructions.
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Lunch Break
12:00 PM – 3:45 PM: Project Time
Students can build projects independently and can get help from peers and tutors through the Slack app.
3:45 PM – 4:15 PM: Project Wrap
Students will take a daily survey about their progress.
4:15 PM – 5:00 PM: Stand Up
Students meet with their Project Manager and peer group for support daily.
Lambda holds classes from Monday through Friday.
Part-Time Course Schedule
6:00 PM – 6:30 PM Warm-Up
Students get some personal time to review the day’s materials before the instruction begins.
6:30 PM – 8:30 PM Guided Project
Students start building a project by following the tutor’s instructions.
8:30 PM – 9:00 PM: Project Time
This time is exclusively set for students to build projects independently and get help from peers and tutors through the Slack app.
Lambda holds classes from Monday through Thursday with an additional weekend session left to the student’s choice.

Final Note
Every week Lambda School follows a specific schedule designed for students to pick up new skills quickly. Lambda School follows all time zones of the US, essentially the Pacific (PST), Mountain (GMT), Central (CST), and Eastern (EST). Thus, students living anywhere in the United States can attend the Full-Time and Part-Time Schedule without missing a class.
